Channel the Flannel

At registration teams will self-identify their level (league and division). During registration you will be asked to select a division. The division you are ultimately placed in may change depending on number of total teams and league/division information. The goal is to create divisions that are as competitive as possible!

Multiple Divisions Offered:   Based on Registrations

These are the divisions and usually where teams are placed using WHAM as an example. This is subject to change at the tournament directors discretion.

BONFIRE (Upper Division) - WHAM A2-B1

CIDER (Middle Division) - WHAM B2-B3-C1

HARVEST (Lower Division) - WHAM C1-C2-C3

GENERAL GAME PLAY RULES AND REGULATIONS

Format (bracketed, round robin pool play, or round robin) depends on teams registered.

Three game guarantee. Four games possible depending on time and teams registered.

Five minute warm up. Three (3) 15-minute periods. First and second running time, third is stop time, unless there is a six (6) goal lead, then it becomes run time. If at any point there is less than a 6 goal lead, stop time resumes. One minute between periods.

OVERTIME PROCEDURES

If the score is tied after regulation, there will be a three player shootout. If the score is still tied after, a one player shootout will continue until a winner is decided. Must go through the full roster before repeating skaters.

All games are scheduled to be played at the Wildcat Center. Teams will be notified if a change in venue is required. Area information (including hotels, restaurants, shopping and other things to do) will be provided after registration.
